INDIA, Used in Burma, 1854, 4a Red & Blue (SG 19; Scott 6). 2nd Printing, Head Die II, Frame Die I, two cut to shape singles, ample margins to touching, used with 1854 1a Deep Red, Die II (SG 19; Scott 4), large to ample margins, tied by diamond grid cancels with corresponding legible red "Rangoon Post Office, 1855 Mar. ?" double-circle datestamp at left on cover to Bath, England, boxed red "India Paid", Calcutta and London transit and Bath arrival datestamps VERY FINE. A REMARKABLE USE OF THE 1854 ONE-ANNA AND 4-ANNA LITHOGRAPH ISSUE IN RANGOON, BURMA ON COVER TO ENGLAND - ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE WITH THE DATESTAMP ON THE FRONT. With 1985 B.P.A. certificate.
