Description
Two small covers to the same addressee in Bombay from Ahmedabad, a town 130 miles from Bombay. On the front of each cover is the rectangular handstamp “AHMEDABAD”-DATE-Paid – (HG 1993 Supplement) in use from 1852. Both have the Bombay General Post Office circular stamp with G.P.O. – date – AM/PM. The first letter has the date July 3rd and the second August 13. The “PM” stamp is not recorded by Giles.
