Two covers, first "Paid" with manuscript "30 September 1845" date and "10 As" rate added on back of folded cover to Montauban, France, sender's directive "Per Steamer Hindustan via Marseilles" , transit and arrival datestamps, second "Bearing" with manuscript "29 Jany /43" date and "2 as" rate added on back of folded letter to Calcutta, with faint arrival datestamp, couple small minor flaws, Very Fine strikes
