Penang 1835 (25 May) entire letter to Madras showing, on reverse, superb strike of framed "pinang/post office" d.s. in red with Madras Ship Letter d.s. alongside; the address panel a little faded otherwise fine. A very fine example of this short-lived marking, used from April 1836 to June 1837. (ID). Photo
