Description

Straits Settlements Penang 1835 (16 Dec.) entire letter to Maidstone, rated "1/3" (deleted) and "1/4" and showing, on reverse, a fine strike of circular intaglio "prince of wales island/post office" in red (Type P.S.4), Calcutta Ship Letter transit d.s., framed "india letter/plymouth" and arrival datestamp.
