Penang 1836 (13 Jan.) entire letter to the Treasurer of the London Missionary Society showing, on reverse, a light strike of circular intaglio "prince of wales island/post office" in red with manuscript date inserted, partly overstruck by framed "dover/india letter", and red arrival c.d.s. (1.8); horizontal filing crease with light ageing on bottom half. A late date of use
