Bold strike in red on back of soldier's concessionary rate cover to Liverpool, England, sender's directive "via Calcutta, Marseilles, & Southampton", manuscript "From Sergeant ? Fairfort HMS 10 Regiment" endorsement, properly countersigned by commanding officer, red framed "INDIA" handstamp, Calcutta Ship Letter (May 31) and London (Jul. 24) transit and Liverpool (Jul. 25) arrival datestamps, "2" rate handstamp, cover with couple minor toned spots, otherwise Very Fine strike
