Shabqadar (the Shubguder of early records) is a town in the Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, guarding the Peshawar valley near the Mohmand hills where the British built a frontier fort. It was a garrison and border town of the north-west frontier. Its early postal markings belong to the first British mail across the Peshawar frontier after the annexation of the Punjab.
