Description

Cover from Captain Riddell to his wife at Indore. The letter was written at Jellalabad on 5th May 1842 and posted from Loodiana. It bears a boxed “LOODIANA / Bearing” datestamp on the reverse, together with a boxed “L.P.O.” handstamp. Rate: Loodiana to Indore – 10 annas.
