Kasur (recorded as Kussor) is a city in the Punjab province of Pakistan, south-east of Lahore near the Sutlej, an old walled town associated with the Sufi poet Bulleh Shah. It was a trade and craft centre of the Lahore country. Established as a district post town after the annexation of the Punjab, its pre stamp markings belong to the early British mail of the Bari Doab.
