Clear strike in reddish violet with manuscript "28 April 1836" date and "13 Annas" rate markings on back of folded letter Launceston, England, red framed "INDIA LETTER/DOVER" handstamp (Robertson In.5), Madras (May 8) and Madras Out Station Ship Letter (May 8) and partial London transit datestamps, manuscript "2/8" and "2/2" rate crossed out and "2/5" rate applied, some minor splitting to front panel and minor opening flap tears, Very Fine
