From Bombay, sent to the UK via the Cape route, transited through Liverpool port & there "INDIA LETTER/LIVERPOOL" mark applied. "1/2" comprising 4d ship letter postage (under 3 oz.) & 10d inland postage to Gloucestershire applied in manuscript, which was collected from the recipient.
