Description

LONDON/MOUNT - “INDIA SOLDIERS/3/LONDON” WITH FRAMED “MOUNT/Free” VIA MADRAS; 3 Aug. 1833 EL (stained top left corner of address side) from Madras to Ireland headed & countersigned for the Concession Rate for a Horse Artillery Gunner with a remarkably fine large encircled “INDIA SOLDIERS/3/LONDON” (Rob. In.Sol.4) on the front alongside a very fine framed “MOUNT/Free” mark (stain) alongside. Attractive usage. PHOTO - see page 43
