Clear strike in red with manuscript "17th Feby 1844" date and "9 An Steam Postage, 5 As Inland to Bombay" rate markings on back of folded letter to Paris, France, sender's directive "Bomaby, Suez & Alexandria = voie Anglaise" , red "INDIA" oval handstamp, Paris arrival datestamp, manuscript "20" rate marking, small piece of front panel missing at corner, still Fine and scarce
