INDIA, Camp Jalnah, 1821, "CAMP JALNAH/POST PAID" Handstamp (Giles 2). Complete boxed red strike though affected by opening on back of folded letter datelined Hingolee Jul. 4, 1821, addressed to London, England, sender's directive "via Bombay" and marked "Double", red Bombay transit (Giles SD4, "very scarce, mail via Cape") over flap, rated "2/4", "INDIA LETTER/PENZANCE" boxed handstamp (Robertson In. 1) and London Dec. 5 arrival datestamp, Very Fine and quite rare strike of the "Camp Jalnah" military camp marking, few are recorded
