CANNANORE/POST PAID. 1830 : H.G. 3 : Headquarters of the CHIRAKKAL taluk of Malabar District MADRAS. In 1790 the fort was captured from the Bibi of Cannanore, became the military headquarters of the British on the West Coast. Wrapper with letter inside from CANNANORE to THYNOOR.
