1842 Military letter and cover from BANGALORE to Lieut,-General ,Sir John Dunston, MADRAS.Interesting content: "a mistake was made in the number of the Reg'ts which was the 6th".(6th Regiment Madras Native Infantry went to China 1n 1842).On front marked PAID JOHN.Several markings on back in red.Very scarce history memento.2 photos.
