Entire posted from Bangalore to England with HG6 "Bangalore PostPaid" handstamp in red along with Madras SD11 "Outstation Madras ShipLetter" in black and Madras MX4. In the text the writer indicates he is traveling from Madras to Bangalore and is staying at Renguntoon a village 33 mls: from Vellore & 120 from Madras, staying with the 48th:Regt:Native Infantry.The letter dated 4th: Oct:,was not posted until he reached Bangalore, it was then taken back to Madras by Dak Post. The letter sailed from Madras and landed at Deal(Kent) via Cape of Good Hope and reached Aylesbury via London.
