x India 1854 Issue Issued Stamps Covers Inland 1856 (July) small native envelope registered from Bangalore to Madras bearing, on reverse, 1/2a. Die III pairs (2, towards greenish blue), margins mainly all round, each stamp neatly cancelled "C/10" with arrival "g.p.o." d.s. and local delivery oval h.s. in red alongside, fine despatch d.s. on face panel; scarce and attractive.
