Margão, P.N.P. in sepia 27 September 1870 to Mapuçá. Internal postage of 20 Reis to be paid by the recipient. Siegel - PORTUGUESE INDIA, "Margao P.N.P." Handstamp. Well-struck two-line handstamp on bottom flap of folded letter, manuscript date "27/9/70" between lines of handstamp, addressed to Mapuca, rated "20 reis", small edge flaws at top VERY FINE STRIKE. ONLY TWO EXAMPLES OF THE "MARGAO P.N.P." HANDSTAMP ARE RECORDED. The P.N.P. indicates unpaid mail.
