Three tight margins to just touching at top, tied by faint strike of "B/156" cancel on 1856 blue folded letter to Calcutta, red Rangoon despatch datestamp on back, exceptional strike of red "RANGOON POST OFFICE, R.H. No. 1" double-circle handstamp, partial red Calcutta arrival backstamp, cover with edgewear and piece missing at top, also with couple minor bleached stains, Very Fine strike of this rare Rangoon receiving house marking, easily one of the finest strikes known, Davis noted less than ten examples are thought to exist, ex Dahlmann and Dr. Kornan
