Gogagur
Ghogha (recorded as Gogagur) is an old port village on the Gulf of Khambhat in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, once among the busiest harbours of the Saurashtra coast for Arabian Sea trade. Its roadstead handled cotton and coastal shipping under the Bombay Presidency. As a coastal post town its pre-1854 markings document the sea-and-land mail of the Kathiawar shore.
