Rogoo nauthpore
Raghunathpur (the Rogoo nauthpore of early records) is a town in Purulia district, West Bengal, in the Chota Nagpur borderland toward the Damodar, a market town of the western uplands with old terracotta temples nearby. It lay on the routes into the plateau. As a post town of the Bengal Presidency its pre-1854 markings trace the mail of the western hill borderland.
