Description

Nattore: 1809 (17 June) entire letter to Calcutta, the reverse with very fine strike of the oval negative seal type "Nattore/Pt Pd" (HG 1) in dull blue-black (the ink appears to have been poorly mixed and showing distinct signs of separation); light overall toning, otherwise fine. One of only two recorded examples.
