Magoorah
Magura (the Magoorah of early records) is a city in the Khulna division of south-western Bangladesh on the Nabaganga river, a district town of the old Jessore country amid the rivers of the delta. It was a trade and route town of eastern Bengal. As a post town of the Bengal Presidency its pre-1854 markings trace the mail of the Jessore region.
