Kissengunge
Kishanganj (the Kissengunge of early records) is a city in the far north-east of Bihar near the Bengal and Nepal borders, in the Kosi–Mahananda plain of the old Purnea country. It was a route town toward the eastern hills. Within the Bengal Presidency it served as a post town, and its pre-1854 markings trace the mail of the north-eastern Bihar frontier.
