Jehanabad
Jehanabad (recorded under the same name) is a city in central Bihar south of Patna, at the meeting of the Dardha and Yamuna streams on the routes toward Gaya. It was a market and route town of the south Ganges plain. Within the Bengal Presidency it served as a post town, and its pre-1854 markings document the mail of the Patna–Gaya country.
