India (French Settlement), Chandernagore, 1823, "Chandernagore/Post Office/18__" Oval Handstamp (Giles 1). Mostly clear strike with manuscript " (18) 23" and "13 Nover" date added on folded letter to Hurrah, Fine strike of this French Settlement postal marking which Giles notes as "Rare" and used between 1820-1830
