Description

India, Calcutta, 1794, "G.P.O./FEBY/ PtPd" Oval Handstamp (Giles 10). Mostly complete strike with manuscript "3" date and "2" (annas) rate marking on back of cover to Gregory Catchick in Sydabad, accompanied by original enclosure in Armenian, intact black seal of the bust of an individual, cover with minor file fold, still Very Fine, covers from the 18th century are quite scarce
