Clear strike with manuscript "26th May 1827" date and "8as" rate added on back of folded letter datelined "Bhullooah 26th May 1827" , addressed to Haddington, Scotland, sender's directive "pr first ship to England" , red "AM" handstamp, framed "INDIA LETTER/LIVERPOOL" handstamp (Robertson In. 2), Calcutta (May 31) and London transit datestamps, manuscript "1/2" and "Add'l 1/2" handstamp rate markings , Very Fine and the only example we are aware of that is unrecorded by Giles though updated on the digitized listing of the Giles catalogue (www.handstruckstampsindia.com)
