Bogra

Bogra, now Bogura, is a city in the Rajshahi division of northern Bangladesh, one of the oldest towns of the region near the ancient site of Mahasthangarh. It was a trade and administrative centre of the Barind tract of eastern Bengal. Within the Bengal Presidency it served as a district post town, and its pre-1854 markings trace the mail of northern Bengal.
