Boglipore
Bhagalpur (long written Boglipore) is a city on the south bank of the Ganges in Bihar, historically known as Champa and famed for its tussar silk. The third-largest city of modern Bihar, it was an important river-trade and district town of the eastern Ganges plain. Within the Bengal Presidency it served as a major post town, and its pre-1854 markings record the mail of the Bhagalpur country.
