1799 Bhaugulpore – Belfast entire letter via Calcutta & Cape route, with Bhaugulpore Giles 2 "Post Paid / BHAUGULPORE / VASUL" bilingual intaglio hand stamp, sent bearing through Calcutta & Cape route, entered in UK & sent to London, there "SHIP LETTER / [crown] / LONDON" transit & double circular "B/24/JU/1800" Chief Office receipt mark applied. "1/" applied & obliterated, updated "1/5" & "4" (total 1s 9d, comprising 8d British incoming sea postage + 1s London–Belfast double letter inland postage + 1d Captain's Gratuity) bearing postage applied in manuscript & sent to Belfast, there single circular "xx/xx/1800" delivery mark applied & bearing postage collected from the recipient.
