Bold and complete strike with manuscript "26th Sept." date and "7as" rate markings on back of 1825 folded letter to Sussex, England, framed "INDIA LETTER/GRAVESEND" handstamp (Robertson In. 1), Calcutta (Sept. 29) and faint London transit datestamps, manuscript "2/1" rate marking, contents regarding the death of a soldier in the 11th Dragoons, Very Fine strike of this particularly elusive marking
