Penang 1839 (19 Feb.) entire letter to London, marked "Via Singapore" and "1½oz", rated "4/6" and showing, on reverse, good to fine boxed "penang/ship letter/Bearing" d.s. in red, fine boxed "singapore/ship letter/Bearing" d.s. in black and arrival c.d.s. (10.7) with framed "new romney/india letter" on face. Rare, one of four recorded showing both Ship Letter datestamps
