Shikohabad (the Shekoabad of early records) is a city in Firozabad district, Uttar Pradesh, a Mughal-named market town of the Ganges–Yamuna doab on the routes near Etawah and Mainpuri. It lay among the plains of the central doab. Within the North-Western Provinces it served as a post town, and its pre-1854 markings record the mail of the central doab.
