1830 Rajpootana – London soldiers' rate entire via Cape route, with "RAJPOOTANA SERVICE/...../18.." hand stamp & date "21 Sept. 30" applied in manuscript; at Calcutta Giles SD9 "CALCUTTA/G.P.O./SHIP LETTER/3 OC 3/1830" transit mark applied. Sent to London via the Cape route, where London Chief Office receipt "F/13 AP 13/1831" mark, "In All" mark, "INDIA SOLDIER/3/LONDON" soldiers' rate bearing hand stamp, and "10 NOON 10/AP 13/1831" (double-ring indicating paid) mark were applied.
