Description

INDIA, Rajpootana, 1825, "RAJPOOTANA POST PAID/18_" Handstamp (Giles 1). Well-struck double-circle cancel with manuscript "13 Feb. (18)25" added on back over the fold of folded letter datelined in Nuseerabad, addressed to Calcutta, small red "PM" in oval handstamp, Calcutta Feb. 27 arrival datestamp (Giles G6), Very Fine, it is interesting to note that the small handstamps were applied in Nuseerabad, ex Dr. Contractor
