India, Nynee Tal, 1852-53, "NYNEETAL Paid" and "NYNEETAL Bearing" Datestamps (Giles 1 and Unrecorded). Two covers with red datestamps, first boxed "Paid" marking dated Sept. 1853 and addressed to Bath, England, Bombay and London transit and Bath arrival datestamps, second boxed "Bearing" with "NYNEETAL" and "Bearing" inverted, dated Nov. 23, 1852 and addressed to London, England, Bombay transit and London arrival datestamps, Very Fine and scarce pair of covers, particularly the "Bearing" which is unrecorded in Giles, let alone its peculiar inverted inscriptions which we do not recall seeing before
