Faint but just legible strike with manuscript "8 as" rate and "the 23rd April 1825" date added on back of folded letter to Kholalpoor, sender's directive "via Calcutta" , red Calcutta (Apr. 30) transit backstamp, Fine strike noted as "Scarce" by Giles
