Merut: 1827 (27 May) entire letter to Calcutta showing oval-framed "MERUT/P. Pd." in red with date in manuscript (HG 2), and 1831 (8 Mar.) entire to Edinburgh showing "MERUT/P. Pd." (HG 3) in black. A fine and interesting pair.
