1836 : H.G.3 : Letter from MERUT to a Captain at DUMDUM [27 Nov.] asking for permission to withdraw Rs. 500. The Inland postage prepaid at MERUT for single letter weight 11 as. This handstamp is in black colour, without having full stop after "T" of MERUT, was in used between 1833-1837.
