Clearly struck in red with manuscript "1as" rate and "7 May" on back of 1844 cover to Kensington, England, sender's directive "Pr Steamer via Southampton" , red "INDIA" oval handstamp, London (Jul. 10) arrival backstamp, manuscript "1/-" rate marking, slight manuscript mark over Merut handstamp and toned bands on front panel, still Very Fine strike Lot Status: Passed
