1844 Sirsa – Lucknow inland cover, with Sirsa "SIRSA/(HANSIE)/Paid" despatch handstamp, date "7 Sept 44" & rate "6as" (paid 6A double-letter inland postage to Lucknow, for a letter between ½–1 Tolah, sent between 400–600 miles; Sirsa–Lucknow distance was around 440 miles) applied in manuscript. At Lucknow, Giles 8 "LUCKNOW/184. SEPT 11/PAID" delivery mark applied.
