1846 : HG : Letter posted from KHASGUNJ [9 Aug.45], a district headquarters of Kanshi Ram Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, located at the Himalayas foothills in area between the holy rivers the Ganges and Yamuna and the alluvium soil makes the land one of the most fertile regions.
