Description
1832 : H.G.1 : Entire letter from FUTTYGHUR [24 March 1832] to AGRA. Postage Prepaid 1 Rs. 2 As. 6 pies. FUTTYGHUR was the headquarter of FARRUKHABAD District. The Fort was built by NAWAB AHMAD KHAN in 1714. In 1777 a brigade of troops lent to the NAWAB of OUDH was stationed there, but it did not come in to British Possession until 1802.
