India, Delhi, 1815, "DEHLI/PtPd" Oval Handstamp (Giles 1). Faint but clear strike with manuscript "30 Octb 1815" date and "1 p" rate added on back of folded letter to Chinsurrah, Dutch Settlement, red Calcutta (Nov. ?) transit datestamp, Fine and scarce use to Chinsurrah during the second Dutch period, Chinsurrah was Dutch until the British took it in 1795, then Dutch from 1814, before being ceded back to the British in 1825
