India 1827 DELHI PtPd HG1 on folded entire to London with CALCUTTA G.P.O. SHIPLETTER HG SD9 and CACUTTA G.P.O. HG G8 in red. Scarce. Contents state I go out to a fine and healthy country and I am glad for the sake of my people that the time is at hand for the season has been beautiful and the tour of Delhie particularly free from disease, both in and near Cantonments. Few and .... has been attacking the .... furiously - one of three regiments there are about 900 men sick & convalescence - without this there have'nt been above 4 or five fatal cases and the Europeans have not been troubled with
