Biaora (the Biorah of early records) is a town in Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, on the Malwa plateau at an important junction of the old roads between Agra, Gwalior and the Deccan. It was a staging town of the Malwa highway. In the era of the Company's northern and Central India posts it served as a mail town, and its pre-1854 markings trace the posts of the Malwa route.
