Clearly struck with manuscript "3 March 1827" date and "6" (annas) rate added on back of folded cover (missing inner panel) to Glasgow, Scotland, forwarded to Rothsay, sender's directive "Ship letter" , framed "INDIA LETTER/DEAL" handstamp (Robertson In. 3), Calcutta G.P.O. (Mar. 9, Giles G9), Calcutta General Post Office (Mar. 10, Giles SD8b), London (Oct. 8), and Holytown transit and arrival backstamps, framed "1/2" handstamp and various manuscript rate markings, cover with slight soiling, Very Fine
